A museum of artifacts and photographs depicting the richness of the Delaware Bay: its resources, history, and culture.

The museum which is currently closed for restoration is in the historic shipping sheds located in Bivalve, NJ on the Maurice River.


Come and experience the restoration process starting this winter/spring. The historic shipping sheds and piers are being restored to their 1920's configuration. Interpretation and exhibits will be available during the process.

The museum is a program of the Bayshore Discovery Project whose mission is to motivate people to take care of the environment, history, and culture of New Jersey's Bayshore region through education, preservation, and example.
