SAILOR FOR A DAY CAMP
A truly unique experience... a day in the life of a sailor onboard a tall ship!
|
Hoist the sails. Haul in the trawl line. See, touch, & learn about local marine life. Assess the health of the water. Trawl for plankton & analyze the catch under a microscope. Dissect an oyster. Discover your watershed and ways to protect it. Navigate the ship. Take the helm. Tie some “salty” knots. Swab the deck. Sing a sea chantey. Make new friends. |
